Prime Minister Martin has called an election for Monday, June 28th. I am honoured to have served as the Member of Parliament for Kings-Hants since 1997 and look forward to meeting with you over the coming weeks to discuss the direction of our country for the next four years.

Since 1997, I have advocated on a range of issues including agriculture, the twinning of Highway 101, and for economic development. The individual concerns of constituents have been foremost on my mind as I seek to make government work for you.

More recently, I have served as the Prime Minister's parliamentary secretary with special emphasis on Canada-US relations. Since my appointment as parliamentary secretary, I have defended our interests in the US on the mad-cow crisis, softwood lumber, and security. While national in scope, these issues impact Kings-Hants and raising them in the national and international corridors of power ensures that the concerns of our community get attention at the highest levels of government.

I look forward to continuing to work on your behalf, making a difference for all the people of Kings-Hants.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact one of our campaign offices by email, phone, or in person.

I hope that I can count on your support on June 28th.
