With the arrival of October we are now firmly into the fall season. The House of Commons will resume for the fall session on October 17th, and that will place me back in Ottawa through the week.
Please find below an outline of some of the activities I have been pleased to attend and participate in since the House rose on June 20. The summer is a wonderful opportunity to meet both formally and informally with constituents around the riding, and I heard from many people their thoughts on a variety of national and local issues. I have also been heavily involved in platform development meetings throughout the summer in my capacity as co-chair of the Liberal Party Election Platform Committee.
As always, I welcome feedback on any issue at any time. Please contact me at your convenience.
