Scott is in Ottawa where the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance is holding hearings on the issue of bank mergers. Scott has a keen interest in this issue and on Thursday will be present when the CEO's of TD, Bank of Montreal, and ScotiaBank appear before the committee. Saturday, February 1st

Russell, Deputy Premier of Nova Scotia The Brison metro-Halifax/Dartmouth campaign kicks off at noon in Halifax. 11:45 – 1:00 p.m. Lunch with friends and supporters at Stayner’s Wharf Pub and Grill, 1781 Upper Water Street (by the Ferry Terminal), hosted by Honourable Jane Purves, Minister of Health, Province of Nova Scotia Scott concludes the day attending the Ontario PC Youth Association meeting in Burlington, Ontario.
